About this page
These approaches are offered as tentative first steps – not
the 'final word', and some may remain closer to the ideas
stage, waiting for someone to grasp the nettle.
So... this is just the beginning!
In
a section elsewhere (on the 'Spirit
of this site') I explain further why I decided to collect
stategies and projects for this site – including comments
from leading UK political guru Geoff Mulgan and 'Radical Middle'
proponent Mark Satin.
The
examples above also employ an 'expansive' – ie somewhat
loose – understanding of what 'Integral' means. As to
require that every strategy or project listed here fully include,
say, all Ken Wilber's Quadrants,
Levels,
Lines,
States
and Types (see What
is Integral?) – that he describes as vital to an
integral view – could risk setting the bar so very high
that it would perhaps be permanently out of reach for any
real-world project.
Please
find those projects that do qualify for the full Integral
'gold standard' and prove me wrong!
